All skin care products are for external use only. Elemental Booster Serums are designed to be added to your skincare product, not directly to your skin.

• Allergies:

Our products contain some butters and oils from natural seeds, fruit, and nuts. All-natural plants and fruits contain proteins that people, under certain circumstances, can develop an allergy.

If you have any allergies, please read the ingredient lists and/or test the product on some part of your body, i.e., upper underarm, belly, or neck, to ensure there is no reaction. If your body does react, then do not use that product.

You may want to consult your healthcare professional if you are uncertain about possible sensitivity.

• Sensitivity:

Once again, even “natural and organic ingredients” can cause reactions in some people, especially if they contain essential oils. Again, before using a product that you believe may have those oils that you have previously been sensitive to, test it on a small area of skin.

Our skin care products should only be used externally and not on open wounds or broken skin.

• With new products, it is always a good idea to test before using:

Even if you do not have an allergy or sensitivity to the ingredients in our products when a person combines different company’s products or has just stopped using one kind of product before starting another, sometimes a person’s skin may react to the change. So again, you may want to run your own small test on a small area of skin before using it for the first time. If you develop any reactions, stop using the product immediately and let your skin rest for a few days with only the use of light soap and water before you reintroduce the product. Then, you may want to use it only every other day to start. If you still have a reaction, then there is some ingredient in the product your skin does not like, and it is best to try another product.

Nerium Oleander Extract: 

Glycerin: This is a natural sugar alcohol that can be derived from animal and plant fats. In its raw form, it contains some phosphorus, calcium, potassium, copper, zinc, iron, magnesium, and manganese.  It is a humectant, which means it helps the skin retain moisture.  It softens and strengthens the skin barrier and promotes skin elasticity, cleansing, and hydrating.

Citric Acid: This is a natural compound found in citrus fruits, oranges, lemons, tomatoes, pineapples, etc.,  that has been known since the late 18th century.  Do not be confused with vitamin C. Citric acid is an acidic antioxidant, and vitamin C is ascorbic acid. In skin care, Citric acid can help in the exfoliation of dead skin cells, balance the pH, work as a protective antioxidant, brighten dull skin and dark spots, help unclog pores, remove excess oil, enhance collagen synthesis production, improve the quality of elastic fibers, and density of water-binding glycosaminoglycans,  protect the skin from oxidative damage and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  Though citric acid is not an essential vitamin or mineral, it can help the body absorb certain minerals, like calcium and phosphorus, and acts as a preservative, helping slow the formation of bacteria, mold, yeast, and fungi.

Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract:  Rich in flavonoids and saponins, honeysuckle can protect the skin against free radicals that lead to skin damage and signs of aging. Because honeysuckle is anti-bacterial, it can serve as a natural preservative.

Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract: Contains antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties; a natural preservative (alternative to using parabens)

Glyceryl Caprylate: Is a natural plant-based ingredient from glycerin and plant fatty acids, most often derived from coconut or palm oil. Rich in vitamins A-K and minerals.  It helps the skin’s moisture balance and restores the skin’s oils.  It has antimicrobial properties and does not clog pores, so is an ideal ingredient for dry acne-type conditions.

Butylene Glycol:  can be sourced from natural plant sugars, avocados, and coconuts. It helps to retain moisture in the skin by drawing it from the air or other sources.

Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate (GLDA): It is derived from plant material, including seeds of the Indian plant Cassia Angustifolia.  It is a natural amino acid that’s produced by converting vegetable materials like sugar beet waste.  Used as a preservative enhancer and stabilizer.  Also helps maintain clarity and prevent products from rancidity.

HYDROXYETHYL ACRYLATE/SODIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYL TAURATE COPOLYMER: Helps improve texture and stabilize oil/water formula. It thickens to create a non-sticky texture and creates a refreshing sensation.

1,2-Hexanediol:1,2-Hexanediol is one of the most multi-functional ingredients in the cosmetic industry. It is used in skincare, hair care, and beauty products. It is a great emollient and a humectant; that is, it preserves hydration on the skin while also softening it.

Glyceryl Undecylenate: Used in formulations for its ability to emulsify a product and its antimicrobial properties. Acts as a skin-conditioning agent that moisturizes and seals moisture into the skin. Because of its natural origin, it can be found in many natural organic skincare products.

Sorbitan Isostearate: Sorbitan Isostearate is an effective moisturizing and conditioning ingredient used in personal care products like lotions, creams, and makeup. It also has emulsifying properties, meaning it helps to mix oil and water-based ingredients together in a smooth and consistent way.
